Historical information

Sir George Grey, KCB was the third Governor of South Australia from 15 May 1841 to 25 October 1845. He was also twice Governor of New Zealand, Governor of Cape Colony (South Africa), and the 11th Premier of New Zealand. Sir Grey was also known as a soldier, an explorer, and a writer.
